Welcome Peter! That’s a bittersweet story. I hope you eventually got the book. It is a wild cover. I have not seen this movie either. The 72 Fearbook Reptile grabbed me in a similar fashion. Forry knew what he was doing!

The first issue I ever saw, one a trip with my dad, and was caught by it immediately. My father, chronically unimaginative unless it was about eating or watching football, pulled me away from this, for me, new wonder.

This I remember getting from The Back of the Book

The things I ordered from the back of the book vs what I WANTED from the back of the book are much different lists. I remember having a Frankenstein cast where you mix the cement and pour it into the mold and paint it. Wish I still had it. Got a couple other things I think. Can’t recall right now.

Any home movies out there?

I tried to make a horror movie once in the early 70s with my dads old video camera and actually got the film developed and watched it. I need to dig it out and get it converted to dvd!!!
