I have vivid horror memories from early on. It probably stemmed from my love/hate with dinosaurs. My earliest nightmare was a t-rex chasing me in the jungle. I was attracted to the scary but still actually scared by it. My earliest TV memories are Dark Shadows (I was born in 1965), Twilight Zone, and Night Gallery. And early movies I remember watching were The Blob, I was a Teenage Werewolf and Teenage Frankenstein. Loved the blob! I also was a sci-fi fan.

See Famous Monsters on the shelf in 1972 brought me backstage and into the magic! And it was no longer quite as scary.
